I am always excited to Friday because it makes me happy to welcome the weekend :)

Today, I had a meeting at Kraft for a briefing on Toblerone, yes, my most memorable and groundbreaking account that I handled (National Thank You Day).  I'm so excited to see the Kraft Team and I miss the Kraft kitchen (where I , Cla and Ange had lunch--YUMM!).

Before I decide on my outfit for the day, I always take into considerations who I am meeting with, where will the venue be, and how many meetings will I have for the day.  Today, I am going to meet government officials so I decided to dress appropriately but still #ALMbisyosa (you just have to match it with the right pair of shoes and blazer:)

#ALMbisyosa Series: And the winner is.......

One of the reasons why you need to consider working in an agency is receiving recognition of your campaigns from different award giving bodies.  When I started working in GMCI (GeiserMaclang Marketing Communications, Inc.), I have not yet realized that this will be my career, that this will  give me recognition I never expected.  Just so you know, I have accepted that I don't need commendations from other people to be motivated, as I know that I fulfill myself - that's my motivation (PAT ON THE BACK:) - to be excellent in what I do and to have my own identity...and I dont want to expect recognition from anybody ---- talk about false hopes! Motivation comes from yourself FIRST.

Nonetheless, I am still very grateful (and happy:) receiving awards from the campaigns I directly supervised..to name a few, National Thank You Day, Wyeth's Bata Movement, Barbizon Mommy Milkshake..these have received awards from different organizations.  Recently, the Aray Ko Galing Ko won several awards . Blued Stylepreneur, which was managed by Anika Punzalan  (ex-GMCI) and Andrew Sha, won an award too:)

#ALMbisyosa Series: Lovely Chairs and Great Food @Geisha BGC

Recently, Geisha Modern Japanese Cuisine soft launched this year located at BGC.   It was a little surprising when I first went to their restaurant, the interior design is not traditional Japanese - yes no red furnitures.  First that caught my attention was these wooden stylish chairs. And of course, I dont want to miss this chance to have my photo taken.  Thanks to Tina Antonio of GMCI for taking this shot!

What is #ALMbisyosa?

I know a lot of you who have been following my posts, and asking what #ALMbisyosa series is. I promised my good friend and officemate - Shell Simbulan AKA #SHELLicious that I'll define this term.

#ALMbisyosa was inspired from the word ANNEbisyosa and the word was coined by my very good friend - Sara Masakayan-Alvarez. Yours truly first heard of ANNEbisyosa when Anne Curtis herself was promoting her album and concert. I was also inspired to have many twitter followers like Anne Curtis Smith (@annecurstissmith) who has 2 Million followers in Twitter – Phenomenal!

Since then, yours truly would always use the word #ALMbisyosa in my tweets and posts.

What does #ALMbisyosa mean?

#ALMbisyosa – from the word AMBITIOUS means the ff:

1. ambitious to be rich
2. ambitious to be fashionable
3. ambitious to be iconic
4. ambitious to be excellent
5. ambitious to be different and unique

Because of my #ALMbisyosa series in my blog (ALL ABOUT LIFE – www.almabuenviaje.blogspot.com) , which used to feature my daily officeday look – my officemates volunteered to be included in my post. I somehow inspired them to be fashionable or dress with character everyday – YES, Everyday…

#ALMbisyosa aims to encourage POWER dressing and the rest follows. A lot of of people get tired of working (yes- I’m talking about whiners) –but it you start your day in looking fabulous, it will totally change your aura in doing your job – excellently. See, if you look fabulous everyday, you will feel and act fabulously.
