It was last year when Pinterest started , I think, here in the Philippines. Creating an account is so easy, as well as sharing photos too!  The photos I adore most are all about fashion.  I get combination and trend tips from this site and I pin my office day look here too. I also get inspiration from this site on what to wear, etc.

My mom loves taking pictures, she wants to capture every moment especially during occasions.  I remember when I was a kid, she would let me change outfits, do some make up, hold the telephone and pretend that I am talking to someone and she will take pictures of me.  So don't wonder why I love posting pictures, with or without occasion, because mana ako sa nanay ko.   But of course, the "heritage" of taking photos will also be passed on...to my lovely daughter..I 'm posting some of her "ARTE photos" here so you will see and just make the judgment!

I love that I bought a lot of wardrobe last year that I can still use now.  I stick to have almost 50% classics in my closet, 30% prints and 20% trendy.  For shoes - I always have the basics but I have plenty - as in more than 20 pairs!

This is the season of attending Christmas parties and staying late night.  The agony of waking up early in the morning to report for work is a pain in the ________, don't you agree.  if I could just sleep all day and party at night - that would be awesome . 

Today, we'll have another Christmas party with the Sales Team and for sure, it's gonna be so fun and we will all get boozed!  Since I need to recharge , I decided not to wear heels and skirt - and dress comfortably and wear safe colors. Here you go!

Almost two months had passed.  I left the job I enjoyed for 9 1/2 years, and I pushed myself to move on to take a new leap.  The leap was more than I expected, a lot of great opportunities came:) a lot of people were surprised and happy.

I stopped posting for awhile because of Instagram and also, I focused on doing other things.

Since it's been awhile that I haven't posted here, I am sharing some of what I 've been doing for the past few weeks.. Ciao!

It's been raining since Saturday, classes were suspended this morning but private companies have work today.

This is the best time to have DVD marathon at home while eating your favorite Cheetos with Coke Zero.

And since we are obliged to go to work, besides it's payday, we have the reason to wear our boots today!!

Today, I had a meeting at Kraft for a briefing on Toblerone, yes, my most memorable and groundbreaking account that I handled (National Thank You Day).  I'm so excited to see the Kraft Team and I miss the Kraft kitchen (where I , Cla and Ange had lunch--YUMM!).

Before I decide on my outfit for the day, I always take into considerations who I am meeting with, where will the venue be, and how many meetings will I have for the day.  Today, I am going to meet government officials so I decided to dress appropriately but still #ALMbisyosa (you just have to match it with the right pair of shoes and blazer:)

#ALMbisyosa Series: And the winner is.......

One of the reasons why you need to consider working in an agency is receiving recognition of your campaigns from different award giving bodies.  When I started working in GMCI (GeiserMaclang Marketing Communications, Inc.), I have not yet realized that this will be my career, that this will  give me recognition I never expected.  Just so you know, I have accepted that I don't need commendations from other people to be motivated, as I know that I fulfill myself - that's my motivation (PAT ON THE BACK:) - to be excellent in what I do and to have my own identity...and I dont want to expect recognition from anybody ---- talk about false hopes! Motivation comes from yourself FIRST.

Nonetheless, I am still very grateful (and happy:) receiving awards from the campaigns I directly supervised..to name a few, National Thank You Day, Wyeth's Bata Movement, Barbizon Mommy Milkshake..these have received awards from different organizations.  Recently, the Aray Ko Galing Ko won several awards . Blued Stylepreneur, which was managed by Anika Punzalan  (ex-GMCI) and Andrew Sha, won an award too:)

I miss my No. 1 fan

It’s been 5 months since my dad left us.  And still I cry each time I think of him.  He’s my greatest fan.  I miss his sweet words to me, his reminders to me to lessen smoking and drinking.  My dad was very supportive, he congratulates me each time I get a promotion or any achievement.  He always make me feel how proud he is of me.  And when I have problems, I just have to cry to him without saying anything, I don’t need to explain or justify anything, he just listens and comforts me.  I miss my dad so much, I really feel that when he left, I lost a special part of me.  I really miss my dad, especially when I want to share something, to share what I feel, to share my anger, to share my fears.  He’s always the first person who takes care of me when I’m sick, he’s the first person who greets me on my birthday, Christmas, New Year and Valentine’s day. I still send messages thru text to my dad when I miss him, yes – I send messages to his old mobile number. 

I miss you so much Daddy!  I just hope I could always be your little girl who kisses you and touches your big tummy every morning. I miss the days that you carry me and hug me tight.  You always make me feel like your baby.........I love you daddy.
